Our history

The history of our company began in 1992. The company's business model was based on innovation and creation of intellectual property, such as patents, know-how and new innovative technologies. In September of the same year, the first scientific and technical contract was signed with the Ufa Synthetic Rubber Plant (now PJSC Ufaorgsintez). By the end of the year, the very first licence for a method of regenerating calcium phosphate catalysts from recycled waste was sold to the Sintezkauchuk plant in Togliatti. A licence for the decomposition of pyranes was also sold.

THE BEGINNING

1992

A subsidiary company under the “Nordshina” trademark was founded. Our company started to develop the trade strategy for wholesale supply of both domestic and foreign car and truck tyres.
A long-term contract was signed with General Electric (GE, USA) conglomerate in order to improve the processes of phenol tar processing obtained in the production of phenol and acetone via cumene method.

NORDSHINA

1993

In 1997, a licence was sold for a method of preparing a KBF-76 catalyst to produce isoprene. The technology was originally implemented at the Nizhnekamskneftekhim Plant (Nizhnekamsk, Republic of Tatarstan). In 2001 the licence for the method of obtaining methyl tert-butyl ether was also sold.

THE FIRST IN THE WORLD

1997-2001

In 2003, our company launched a new business project –wholesale supply of chemical raw materials, under the name of “Eurochem-Trade”. Starting with additives for rubber-technical products, the sales department began to actively develop and expand our product portfolio, intensifying co-operation with various Asian countries.
In the same year, two licences were sold to the Sintezkauchuk plant in Togliatti for the production of wood preservatives trademarked “Aquabor” and “Boroksan”.

RAPID DEVELOPMENT

2003

EUROCHIM Group of companies has begun a comprehensive rebranding of its projects. As of 2025, The Group portfolio consists of CHEMFRAME, Eurochem-Trade and NORDSHINA brands.

EVOLUTION, NOT REVOLUTION

2025

Two employees of the LLC “SPS EUROCHIM” were awarded with the title "Laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Tatarstan in the field of science and technology” for their work about “Industrial technologies for decomposition of oxygen-containing by-products of petrochemical production”.

STATE PRIZE OF THE REPUBLIC OF TATARSTAN

2018

Three employees of the LLC “SPS EUROCHIM” were awarded with the title “Laureate of the Russian Federation Government Prize in Science and Technology” for their innovative research of “Scientific and Technical Basis, Creation and Industrial Development of Innovative, Environmentally Safe, Resource-Saving Technologies for Production of Isoprene and a Complex of Associated High-Quality Petrochemical Products”.

RUSSIAN GOVERNMENT AWARD

2012

Professor A.S. Dykman, General Director of LLC “SPS EUROCHIM”, has become the only Russian scientist who won the international prize of Giulio Natta.
At the same time a contract was signed with the American company Dionex for the supply of chromatography reagents.
